DESIGN & BUILD
We were commissioned to design and build a neighbourhood wine bar in De Beauvoir Town, Dalston. The brief, led by client Jimmy, called for a relaxed, characterful space inspired by the cafés and wine bars of France and Italy.
The design centred on a warm timber palette and robust, functional forms — a nod to traditional Mediterranean interiors. These were offset with opulent tiled surfaces and bold colour selections, introduced by the client to bring charm and energy to the space.
True to its setting, the project evolved organically during the build, with design decisions made collaboratively on site. A rewarding and enjoyable project from start to finish.
